We are pleased to inform about a success of our students (of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence) in a hackathon organised by Roche and Janssen companies under the auspices of Warsaw Health Innovation Hub. The event took place with the cooperation of Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs and under the patronage of Polish Ministry of Health.
The goal of the hackathon was to create solutions which would help with most urgent needs of modern healthcare. The main theme was “IT solutions in cardiology”.
The team HYPER CARDIO of five students: Gabriel Wachowski, Pawel Snioszek, Jan Gruszczynski, Maciej Filanowicz and Wojciech Noskowiak took the second place in the competition. The awarded solution was mostly based on pharmacotherapy (strictly tied to cardiology) and the research of interactions between medicines for patients having multimorbidity. The team’s application had two modules – patient’s and doctor’s, both based on medicine interactions.
