Students of Bioinformatics will represent PUT at iGEM contest

Three students of Bioinformatics: Jakub Bartosiewicz, Melania Nowicka and Weronika Krzynowek, will represent Poznan University of Technology at prestigous european contest organized by MIT called iGEM – International Genetically Engineered Machine, in the field of synthetic biology. Their project has a potential to revolutionalize the research on E.coli bacteria. Bioinformatics is a macro-faculty conducted in cooperation between the Faculty of Computing from Poznan University of Technology and the Faculty of Biology from Adam Mickiewicz University.
