On Thursday, October 6th, the Inauguration of academic year 2010/11 took place at the Poznan University of Technology. It was connected with the opening of European Center for Bioinformatics and Genomics. One of the main organizers of this center is the Institute of Computing Science. The opening lecture was given by the employee of the institute, professor Jacek Błażewicz.
