We are pleased to announce that prof. Jacek Blazewicz received the title of Distinguished Scientist of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

This title is a part of CAS President’s International Fellowship (PIFI) program, it is awarded to foreign scientists who are respected figures in their own fields with outstanding scientific accomplishments.

Every year, CAS institutes submit applications for nomination of (up to) 200 foreign scientists, from whom the laureates (from several research fields) are finally chosen. Prof. Błażewicz is a laureate of CAS PIFI award for outstanding scientists in the field of engineering and information technology. His nomination was submitted by Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
