Dr Tadeusz Kobus is a winner of KDM PCSS 2017

In this year’s Conference of High Power Computer Users in PSNC, Dr. Tadeusz Kobys was the winner of the “Najciekawsza praca dyplomowa i doktorska z wykorzystaniem PCSS” (“Most interesting thesis and PhD thesis using PSNC”) for his PhD thesis “Transaction Replication: Algorithm and Properties”. Genetic Map of Poland will be created at Institute of Computing Science

On the 22nd of December 2016 a grant agreement was signed for the creation of Genetic Map of Poland, which will be built under the project “ECBiG – European Centre for Bioinformatics and Genomics” that is included on the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructures. Project consortium consists of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poznan University of Technology (Institute of Computing Science) and Poznan company Centrum Badań DNA sp. z o.o. The project manager within the work packages assigned to Poznan University of Technology is the director of the Institute of Computer Science Prof. Jacek Błażewicz.
